Katy Perry Drops Acoustic Version of ‘Daisies,’ Confirms ‘Never Really Over’ Will Be on ‘KP5’

Katy Perry unveiled a soothing acoustic version of her hit
“Daisies” on Wednesday (July 1).

The stripped-down track features Perry’s flawless vocals over
acoustic guitar: “They told me I was out there/ Tried to knock me
down/ Took those sticks and stones/ Showed ‘em I could build a
house/ They tell me that I’m crazy/ But I’ll never let ‘em
change me/ ‘Til they cover me in daisies/ Daisies, daisies.”
The track is out now via Capitol Records.

Meanwhile, Perry revealed in an interview that“Never Really
Over,†the first taste of her new musical era that was released
over a year ago, will be on her upcoming fifth album. “I’m
definitely going to put ‘Never Really Over’ on the record,â€
